Hall Green's South Birmingham Division One Ladies team opened the season with an away win at title challengers Acocks Green. After going 2 down after four cards they turned it around to win by 14 with 6 out of the 8 being winning cards. The result was an improvement over last year where their away draw in the last match of the season helped Hall Green Ladies win the league for the fourth year running.
